DORTHY GRAHAM G. A. B. C. Secretary To the Graduating Class of 1957: It has been a pleasure to have been associated with you during the last eight years of your public school career. I have had a part in the many decisions that were passed while you were in school; some of these, I understand, didn’t always make you happy. During these years I had the privilege to watch you grow, work, play, and compete in the many activities in which our school now engages It has been a joy to me to see our students grow in their ability to reach higher standards of achievement for them- selves and for their school. I am proud of the way you have worked and performed, and the honors you brought to the Nahunta High School are appreciated and will be re- membered for a long time. In the years just ahead some of you will enter institutions of higher learning in order to equip yourselves for the type of work that you know you want to do. Others will wander--exploring the many activities that this world offers for a livelihood. Iam quite sure during these first years, wherever you are, the habits of cleanliness in thought, speech, and action that you have acquired and practiced while passing through this school will impress many employers. Before many years will have passed, all of you will plant yourselves in some of the communities of this country to become permanent citizens. It will then become your duty to live such a type of community life that others will see your good works and will want to follow your standards, and your com- munity will be better because you live there.
