:Wg 'za . My . Girls' Fellowship of Christian Athletes sponsored the annual juniorfsenior Powder Puff Game in December. Juniors defeated the seniors 6-0. An after-game fellowship was held at Pecan Acres park. 1. Dan Debenport provided halftime enter- tainment at the Girls' FCA annual Powder Puff game. 2. Juniors cheered on their defen- sive team from the sidelines. 3. Coach Bobby Reyes, Powder Puff referee, showed his favortism by calling numerous penalties against the seniors. 4. Seniors and coaches plan their strategy, but to no avail. The juniors won 6-0. 5. Seniors were entertained with Dan Dabenport's halftime performance. Powder Puffl 1 1

fn. ww gaafvze Z D an I I I A bonfire was held to psyche up the students for the oldest rivalry between Nacogdoches and Lufkin. ln spite of the rain the seniors still proceeded with the building and lighting of the '86 bonfire. 1. Senior football players had a hard time lighting the fire due to the rain, but the Dragons' belief is Together we stand, Divided we fall, Mighty Dragons will conquer all. With this in mind the fire soon blazed. 2. lt takes a big umbrella to hide Mervin Jones, Ty McCarty, and John Green, from the pouring rain. 3. 24412 The NHS Student Council sponsored its annual door decorating contest. First period classes were encouraged to decorate their doors for the Christmas season. Judges for the contest were Mrs. Jane Green and Mrs. Elaine Burgess. Best All Around Door was awarded to Mrs. Vicky Lymbery's class. Originality was won by Mrs. Julie Davis' data processing class. 121 Christmas
