The club provides exper- iences to develop the qualities and ap- titudes basic to successful teaching. The activities the club planned this year were a slumber party, observation day at a local elementary school, and a field trip to a major university. The club had regular monthly meetings the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The club has been in existance for at least 30 yrs. A former sponsor of FTA is Mrs. Verna Lee.
