Remember that first day, four years ago when we were all running around asking each other, Hhave you seen R102?', UNO, have you seen T 1057, That was a confusing, but exciting day, we were now in high school. We seemed so small in such a huge atmosphere. The mini-oak tree became our home for in the morning, at lunch, and after school. We dared not go in front of the high school in fear of invading on the upper classm en. The year pushed on and we became more a part of things. It was the first year for a homecoming parade and as a class we got together a float. The end came in focus when we all began to buy our senior rings. Although ourjunior year gave us something to be proud of, it nor the others could ever compare to the greatest year of all. This was our last chance to leave a mark on NHS that would never fade away. The bicentennial senior class was cer- tainly to be remembered. We showed great school spirit when our bon-fire was burned down and we rebuilt it even bigger than before in a day. Though a lot of play took place so did a lot of work. For weeks the moans and groans of research papers were heard. After the research papers were through senioritis broke out everywhere. The anticipation of the last days filled all the conversations. However, when that final hour struck, most everyone felt some sorrow of leaving NHS where they had spent the majority of their past four years and had found security in the positions they had made for them- selves. At that time the conversation changed from anxiousness to nremember when . . . 154
