VLA In Memoriam The Crozier Tech student body was sad- dened by the tragic accident which' resulted in the death of Benny Shaffer, class of '64, dur- ing the past summer. Benny was one who could set a goal, then strive toward it. As a result of diligent train- ing at his home, he holds the school record for pole-vaulting. Due to his love for art and his dedication to developing his ability at draw- ing and painting, he Won a competitive schol- arship to East Texas State College. Benny was conscientiously saving money to attend college when the tragedy occurred. His many sketches and drawings serve to remind us of Benny . . . his example will be an inspiration to us. I6 1'..
