The vision ol len unescorled co-ed hoslesses al lhe lodge caused lhe near-dealh ol one unknowing plebe who unsuspeclingly chanced lo slep inlo lhe palh ol lhe onrushing Scads Eide. Also seen loping over fha horizon wilh oulslrelched arms and wildly burning eyes were Gus Schroeder, Jay Nash, and a lew olher prominenl dash men. The main lodge, lhal lirsl allernoon, had an amaz- ing resemblance lo an inslilulion lor lhe menlally disabled. No less lhan lwo ping-pong games, lwo badrninlon games, boxing, a game ol baskelball, cards, and dancing were in progress al once. One innocenl young plebe was seen wrilhing wildly on lhe lloor wilh a shulllecock lrom lhe rackel ol an over-zealous badminlon player imbedded in his lell ear. Ampulalion al lhe shoulders was neces- sary, bul we are happy lo inlorm you lhal he has recovered and is in line lor promolion lo Pelly Ollicer, lhird class. The evening was highlighled by a lalk by Dr. Rich- ard Raines and some speciallies worked up by prominenl Minneapolis cilizens. The bugle blew reveille al 0600 on Sunday ....
