The football team had a winning and a losing year. The winning aspect was the enthusiasm and spirit of the team and the student body. The losing was on the scoreboard, only. Many players were inexperienced, but they never gave up the fight. The bobcat fighting spirit showed, even when it seemed hopeless. Our players played as hard in the last game as in the first. Mr. DiFede was the head coach, and his assistant coaches were Mr. Mauze and Blackman. These coaches worked very hard with and for the players. It will be our great disadvantage not to have coach DiFede next year. This really was a good year: Even if the scoreboard didn't show it.
