Organizations 76 Athletics 106 Advertising 128 Index 139 yet it’s different. In empty hallways, the laughter and confu-learned the principles of democracy — here we became individuals. We were typical all American” teenagers — we dressed alike, wore our hair the same, danced the Twist”, witnessed manned orbital shots, ate pizza pie, put off doing homework, wore short skirts, and observed J.F. Kennedy’s first year in office. Over the years we kept our minds busy acquiring new knowledge about our world, though what the future held for us was unknown. Among our classmates and friends we saw prospective ministers, nurses, homemakers, loggers, and artists. We were individuals; yet, in mass, we composed the student body of Myrtle Point High School. 3
