omoiz (Item Gj’f’iczr and (dia±± dfiitoru Bobby Detlefsen - - President Mud Laird - - Vice-President Burton Wilson ... Secretary Ramona Francisco - - Council Rep. Douglas Druliner - Sergeant-at-Arms J. W. Garrett ... Advisor The Sophomore boys started a very successful year for us by pulling the Freshmen through the water in our annual tug-of-war. We provided a colorful day for the school when we initiated the Freshmen. Prior to this day we handed the Freshmen mimeographed sheets which listed the regulations for Initiation Day. The Sophomores had a good time that day and the Freshmen seemed to take the stunts as good sports. An assembly was staged by the Sophomores which was well received by the Student Body. Under the supervision of our advisor. J. W. Garrett, we held a Sophomore dance and a Sophomore skating party. Both Freshmen and Sophomores had a good time during the Freshmen Return party. There was plenty of cokes and cookies. Our mighty Sophomore boys made an excellent showing in the interclass basketball games as they came in second in the series. The girls also placed second in the G. A. A. basketball games.
