I, Wanda Hadley, will my ability to get a husband to Twila Bishop, knowing she will use it. I, Jackie Trees, will my little hot rod to Janice, and Gary to Nobody. I, Ruby Jannsen, will my long black hair to Joanne, knowing it will shock everybody. I, Clinton Dyer, will my trusty safety razor to Dudley Klimback, hoping beyond all hope that he will never find any blades to fit it. I, Joan Deen, will my quietness to A. J. Waltz, knowing everybody will enjoy it. I, Larry Doud, will my good driving ability to Rick Cearley, knowing Eddie will appreciate it. I, Keith Ulam, will my little blue Ford to Carol, knowing she'll get to drive it anyway. I, Gary Lee, will my super Chev to Mr. Abrahamson, knowing he'd love to rack off the pipes. I, Jessie Smith, will my snazzy haircut to Sam Ferguson, knowing the girls will love the com- bination. I, Eddie Cearley, will my wrestling ability to Bob Cavaner, knowing he could use it in basketball next year. I, Carrol Buley, will my little black book full of addresses to Glen Bell. I, Harold Dean, will my car to Larry Page, knowing he won't drive it because he can't drive. I, Patsy Jack, will my typing ability to Barbara Bennett, knowing she will use it. I, Linda Richardson, will my little green Ford to Kathleen Traub, knowing she will never get to borrow her brother's car. I, Claris Hughes, will all my old girl friends to Don Harkema. I, Robert Shafer, do hereby will my bare head to Gerald Mills. I, Beverly Doggett, will my job at the Dairy Queen to my sister, Dorothy, knowing Brent will appreciate the crazy hours. I, Betty Moan, will my ability to get passing grades to Joanne Jannsen, knowing she will make good use of it. I, Ann Howard, will my'long naturally curly hair to Anna Blackert, knowing she would enjoy cutting it. I, Beverley Churney, will my books, locker, and ability to climb the stairs to school every day to Gerry Rhodes, in hopes she'll carry them well. I, Bernice Biss, being sound in mind and body, will my place in shorthand, to anyone who can fill it. I, Jan Guinn, hereby bequeath my sideburns to Jim White and my ability to stick my foot in my mouth at the wrong time to Lee Winetrout. I, Gary Hall, will my ability to play the cornet to Mickey Felkel, knowing he will need it in the next three years. I, Carol McDevitt, will my ability to go elk hunting, but get a deer , to anyone who can put it to as good an advantage as Ihave. I, Pat Newman, will my quiet, lady-like voice to Peggy Hubbard, knowing she has long admired and wanted it. I, Keith Ogborn, will my pipes to Richard Weaver, hoping he will get a ticket. I, Dick Naas, will my Sergeant-at-Arms job, gladly, to Wes Davidson, hoping he does as much with it as I did. I, Gary Brown, will my hot, little Ford to anyone able to keep it running. I, Jeanine Murray, will my good times on the Rally Squad to M. C. H. S. , hoping it will create a little excitement. I, Ron Bauer, will my ability to learn English to Wilford Lee, hoping he will use it as I have. I, Jim Murray, will my sports ability to Frank Bartley, hoping he will never get tired. Senior Class Will We, the high and mighty Seniors, Class of 1958 of Myrtle Creek High School, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do now make and publish this, our last will and testament, so that we may distribute our interests among our beloved underclassmen, realizing that they deeply regret our passing. I, Sharon Schager, will my talkativeness to Bob Paine, in the hopes that it will not handicap him. I, Nancy Brown, will my appetite to Patsy Scanlan. I, Bessie Patt, will my athletic ability to Janet Bliven, knowing she will be the first girl to participate in boys' sports. I, Marilyn Wyatt, hereby will the secret of my exotic, wavy pony tail hairdo to Kathleen Traub, who has always wanted to discover it. I, Betty Blackert, will my good times in Roseburg to my sister, Anna, knowing she will make good use of them. I, Bob Lincecum, will my tall tales to Jim Perry, knowing he will say'they were his in the first place. I, Kelly Norton, will my cider press to Gregg QOlej Lindquist, hoping he'll save me some when I'm home on leave. I, Shirley Pachmayr, will my naturally curly hair to my cousin, who would appreciate it. I, Ann Hayter, will my speed in the 100 yard dash to my sister, Jean, hoping she can catch a man, too. I, Carol Jones, will my grades to some lazy student, so that there will a pleasant surprise for someone's mother. I, Sharon O'Neall, will my troubles to Janice Sisco, hoping she can solve them. I, Atha Ireland, will my quietness to Glen Bell, knowing the teachers will appreciate it. I, Alvin Helgeson, will my cavalry boots to Wilford Lee, knowing that if he keeps his Chevrolet, he will need them. I, Pat Matthews, will my red hair to Bob Jones, in hopes that he will be called Red , and that it will become his pet peeve, as it has mine. I, Doug Dyer, will my ability to like school to Owen Russell, in hopes that he will use it wisely. I, Joy Richards, will my long, blond hair to Freda Greenwalt. I, Lela Bloomfeldt, will my curly hair to Tom Byford, in hopes it Will increase his personality. I, Leo Berge, will my shortness to Ted Roberts. I, April Winter, will my drumming ability to Joanne Gilmore, in hopes that she will use it better than I did. I, Tom King, will my ways with girls to Tom Timm, hoping he will use them to the best of his ability. I, Nyettia Dumont, will to Susan Dyer more good times at ball games. I, Judy Graf, will my ability to bug out fast to Bill Calhoun in hopes that he will take advantage of it. I, Byron Auer, will my height to Darwin Schager. I, Sharlett Gratz, will my hair grower to Anna Blackert, knowing someday she will need some- thing to cut. I, Juanita Stimson, will my ability not to get my driver's license to Marlena Sellick, hoping she gets hers sooner than I got mine. I, Gail Harkey, will my sax to Steve Hall, hoping he knows what to do with it. I, Don Bishop, will my baseball ability to my brother, Edgar. Senior Cluss Prophecies Dear Mrs. Whisenant: It is now 1968. Ten long years since the class of '58 graduated. After those years of success or failure, the following ias been revealed: Sharon Schager and Butch Gratz have gone into politics. Sharon investigates everything and Butch does something about it. Beverly Doggett, after so many years of hard driving, has become publicity manager for the Studebaker Motor Company. Gary Lee and Jackie Trees have settled down to the nice, quiet job of teaching. Pat Newman and Kathy Sanders, now nurses, have come to the conclusion that, 'a woman's doctor is her best friend . Gary Brown is owner and operator of the Lubrication Department of the Myrtle Creek Shell Garage. His main business is oiling fishing reels. Alvin Helgeson took over his dad's cattle ranch and is raising water buffalo . Atha Ireland, an important movie star, now believes Ireland was named after her. Ronald Bauer is now superintendent of the Douglas County School Board. Don Bishop has left all the hub-bub of the city and is now a sheepherder in Australia. Gary Hall has created a happy medium by combining the Liberace and Satchmo bands. Betty Blackert has just retired from the bench in Reno. The jury found her guilty of about 1000 traffic violations. Jan Guinn, after so many years of marriage, has just finished her first successful T. V. frozen dinner. Keith Ogborn, after going through so many transmissions, has developed one with rubber gears. Sharon O'Neall just received the greatest commission ever, modeling hip boots on the Riviera. Dick Naas has just completed his first movie of basketball, produced by the very late Mike Todd. Brad Goff is now playing Lil' Abner on the legitimate stage in New York. N Bernice Biss is editor of the Lonely Hearts Column of the Myrtle Leaf. Carol McDevitt, the new Betty Crocker , is now teaching the latest cooking methods to the faculty members. Doug Dyer has just bought his twenty-fifth logging truck and is driving all of them himself. QRemote controll Jessie Smith has finally attained his life long ambition, marooned on an island with a mermaid. Bob Shafer has completed his own home library, thanks to Miss Gore. Keith Ulam and Mike Walker have just returned from the Navy after ten years of N. R. O. T. C. April Winter, after a long, hard struggle, has replaced Mrs. Whisenant as Dean of Girls. Marilyn Wyatt created the most did away sack and brought back the Hour Glass . Tom King and Kelly Norton have walked their way up through the ranks of A. F. L. and jointly share the honors of presiding over the loyal meetings as Sergeants-at-Arms. Juanita Stimson is the first successful lady of the Royal Mounted Escort of Queen Elizabeth. Nyettia Diunont is now publishing the home edition of the popular booklet, Cooking . Oda Griffith, being on the Queen for a Day program, has received as her wish, that the penguins at Portland be taken back to Siberia . Bessie Patt, along with Carol Jones and Gail Harkey, has created the new band sensation, the Tri and Listen , as their first album. In Africa, Carrol Buley is seeking a specimen of a short Mau-mau . He is going to enter him in the Olympics as a wrestler. Eddie Cearley is now in New York trying for.the Charles Atlas Award. Judy Graf and Pat Matthews are partners in owning the famous Shakespearean Play House. I ll 21
