Selling concessions at the games was the biggest profitable activity this year. Room For One Moref' the class play, was presented April 4 and Wag very successful. Wanda Leonard and Jerry Jones were named the best dressed couple at the box social in March. Sponsored by tie class, it was enjoyed by ali. Gay N'ir1eties was the theme. Our cirnival princess and prince were Florene Payne and John Cavaner. Donna Deller and Rav Adsit were Homecoming princess and escort. Boys earning letters in football from the Junior class this year were Richard Bryant, Ray Adsit, Dick Komp, Ralph Rutter. and Pete Patt, with Ronald IVIcGi1lis earning a letter as manager. Basketball lettcrmen were John Cavancr, Dick Komp and Jerry Jones. Last year lcttcrmcn in bgiscliall were Jim Phillips, Don Smith. John Cavaner and Dick Komp. JoYnny Simpson, J. D. Sanders, and Ronald IVlcGil1is earned letters in track last spring. Out of a registered class of 67, five have attended school in Myrtle Creek since the first grade. They are Richard Bryant, Edith Ireland, Carlene Rust. Marianne Shirtclitf and Ardelle Weaver. Plass ofl'ir'ei's are president, Marjorie Frentress: vice-president. Ray Adslt: sccre- tary.
