Our goal, as editors for the 1988 Myndersian, was to produce a quality yearbook that could capture all these events and emotions. With the help of our literary ad-visor.Mrs. Ostcrhout, our business advisors, Mrs. Foster and Mrs. Marino, and our devoted staff, we feel that we have reached our goal and produced a quality yearbook. THE CLASS of 1988 HONORS “AUNT DEE” As we started our Senior year with anticipation and anxiety, we were not sure who we were going to be able to rely on for advice. As the first crucial days of our Senior year passed, we began to understand that Mrs. Philomena Burdett also known as “Aunt Dee” was going to be there for us. She was able to understand what we were going through due to her past eighteen years of experience in the Seneca Falls School District. Thanks to her great friendship we all survived. 4

SUPERINTENDENT and BOARD of EDUCATION The best to all of you. David S. Giles Superintendent of Schools Row 1: M. Pignonc, P. Roscnkrans, M. Midey, J. Pannucci. Row 2: B. Brewer, S. Willower p Same K Irland As you look through this year’s Myndersian you will experience many mixed emotions. There will be joy in remembering, but sadness in the realization that you will soon leave Mynderse Academy to continue on to new horizons. A yearbook is a collection of memories reflecting each individual’s activities during his or her high school years. Your adult years will also be a collection of memories as you pass through the years. How you are represented in this yearbook is a reflection of how much you put into your school life, as your future effort will be reflected throughout the rest of your life. If you wish to be remembered in the eyes of others, or in the pages of life, you will have to put forth a commitment to excellence in all that you do. The important milestones in your life have not, nor will they ever, come easily. There is no free ticket for the ride through life’s experiences.
