The yeors in high school hove no substitute; when they ore gone they connot be recoiled. Emptiness punctuated by regret serves only to hount o future tainted by thoughts of whor might hove been. Do not focus upon the disappointments, but rather upon the unique experiences that you hove encountered ond will be remembered for the remainder of your days. The rime you hove spent with us was very precious and connot ever be removed. Take whot you hove gained from Mynderse Academy ond use it os the foundation for your future growth. You hove o responsibility to develop your potential not only to yourself, but to the community os o whole. You will be instrumental in either shaping your future or allowing the events of life to control your destiny. In September of '61, the Class of '85 encountered a new outgoing administrator briskly traversing the halls of Mynderse. Over the course of the next five years we learned that we were not alone in facing our problems and would be listened to with on open mind. In guiding us firmly, we discovered that striving for excellence in education ond personal achievement was paramount. With one look from his compelling eyes, we immediately understood whor behavior was expected.
