This has been a very busy year with many things to do. What most of us fail to realize are the many good times and fun we have had together at Mynderse Academy. These memories will follow us through the rest of our lives. We, the class of 1981, owe a great deal to the faculty who has aided and assisted us through these very difficult years, teaching us to take on responsibility. They were instrumental in helping to shape our character. Soon, we will all go our own ways but we know we can always rely on those close friends that we have made at Mynderse. We have all gained valuable knowledge and obtained a set of values here at Mynderse that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. Al Gallina Senior Class President 17

The beginning of a new and challenging life lies before each and every one of you. You should enter this new experience with faith and confidence in yourself. Do not be influenced by the pessimistic attitude of our future, which is forecast by the cynics of our society. Life is what the individual desires it to be. This is not to say that it will be easy. Hard work and perseverance must be a part of your daily life. Set your goals high and be honest with yourself in the effort you put forth to reach for that something special. Be hesitant in looking toward tomorrow and do your best each day to make that day a stepping stone to the next. Remember, self-confidence is a key that will unlock the door to your future.
