Douglas Zoller If all of us at Mynderse Academy have done our job, we should have helped each of you to be effective, fully participating graduates capable of coping with and readjusting to a changing society. I hope that all of you have acquired, to some degree, the ability to reason, the ability to readjust yourself to cultural changes, the ability to control and spend one’s time with intelligence and rewarding purpose, the ability to achieve and sustain rewarding relationships with others and the ability to persevere and extend one’s uniqueness while participating in our society. I wish you every success as you enter the next stage of your life and every stage thereafter. May you achieve success in proportion to the effort and dedication you put forth. Sincerely, M. TO THE CLASS OF 1981 - If you have done your best, if you have not magnified your troubles, if you have looked on the bright side of things and evaluated things as they really are, you have indeed been an asset to your school, Mynderse Academy. It is now your responsibility to go out into the world and do those things that will benefit and enhance the lives of the people around you. The real measure of the Class of ’81 will not be in what legacy you have left at Mynderse, but what contributions you can make to your family, community and nation. As a class you will never be forgotten and you will always be welcomed back. Mynderse is your school and no one can take away those memories and experiences that helped to mold your personal philosophy. Thanks for letting us become a part of your life. May good luck and prosperity follow you and your class throughout the fullness of you lifetime. Let a smile be your umbrella! John R. Markell, Principal 15
