TO THE CLASS OF 1980 As Mynderse graduates, you are passing into the next important phase of your life. You are about to enter into a society filled with challenge and opportunity. What you do with your lives from this point forward will determine not only your personal self-fulfillment, but the general wellbeing of those who will interact with you. There is only one other thing we would ask of you ... never be caught up in yourself... or believe you are a self-made person. Each of you are made up of thousands of others. Everyone who has done a kind deed for you, or spoken one word of encouragement to you, has entered into the makeup of your character and of your thoughts, as well as your success. I hope that you come to realize the importance of the family unit in our society. The earlier in your life this occurs, the more gratifying life will be for you. TO THE CLASS OF 1980 Time has passed so quickly and what seemed to be an eternity, has passed. Here you are, the first graduating class of Mynderse Academy in the decade of the 1980's. You have the distinction of being the moving force that will lay the groundwork for th is decade both in your school, community and possibly the world. Reach out and make your contributions but always remember, He climbs highest who helps another up. I know from our experiences together that you have the potential and that you have the Mynderse Pride. Please use your potential to the fullest and you will never have to look back and say, I'm sorry. Each of you will go your own way but you all have a common bond and that is that you are a Mynderse Graduate. Mynderse Academy is yours and you are always welcome back. May all of your hopes, your dreams and your personal goals as an individual be fulfilled and may you always represent your school with dignity.
