Cafeteria Feeds District Preparing over 260,000 Type A meals annually for the entire school district, the cafeteria staff lines up before assuming battle stations for the three high school lunch periods. Custodian Rate 4. The custodial staff maintains a tight schedule for mopping floors, wiping walls, sweeping rooms, and repairing furniture. With sufficient years of military service to know what 4.0 means, Head Custodian Charles Bonkowski, second from left, is ready for a captain's inspection every day assisted by Patrick Sturdevant, Ray Hauf and Arthur Gaines. Bus Drivers Cover District The bus drivers cover approximately 185,000 miles annually in a fleet of eleven buses transporting students for all five schools in the district. Above, six members of the afternoon team stand in front of the new addition to the garage. They are Gerald Haust, Arthur Delohn, Thomas Manganaro, Michael Gladis, Kenneth Davis, and Wesley Marsh.

Mrs. Thelma Wycker, school nurse, provides for our yearly check-up. HE LTH STAFF PERFORMS SERVICES The health staff of Mynderse Academy performs nurnerable services for the school. Each year the stu- dents receive a physical examination from one of the community doctors. These doctors, who are on a rotating system, also are on hand for all ath- letic events. The school nurse and dental hygienist check and advise students on visual, aural, and dental problems. Whenever necessary, minor ail- ments and illnesses are treated. At the clinic held in October, Sophomores and Seniors were given the opportunity to receive at no expense diptheria-tetanus and polio shots, booster innoculations, and vaccinations. Also, teachers and the service staffs were able to have chest x-rays and influenza shots. Our school hygienist, Miss Lois Pontius, takes care of our dental problems. The first thing after being absent, we checked in with Mrs. Wycker.
