The topic Leaves may sound like a very commonplace subject, but consider its possibilities. To a gourmet, it may recall a table upon which food is placed. To a Wood- worker, it may mean the thin sheets making up a thickness of laminated wood. Everyone will probably call to mind the glorious landscapes of nature, painted in the crimson, gold, and brown of our fall foliage. However, leaves are also the pages of a book. In the Bible, the greatest book of all times, may be found the principles upon which to build an upright life. . ln other books, We may find and make use of the teachings of our greatest scient- ists and philosophers. Their knowledge becomes ours for the effort if we wish to make it. What effort will you make? You too can leave your mark on these leaves which may become timeless. What will it be?
