At work in Our White House ARTHUR I BAKER, A.B., B.S., M.S., Syracuse University. Mr. Baker writes to the seniors TO THE CLASS OF 195Z In there dayr of atomzk energy automatzbn, and . . . world-wide tensions this country needs the best trained people it can get. Radio, television, and jet propulsion have brought about a reduction in the size of our worldg but, at the same time, have increased the opportunities for young men and women. VVhether you can have a happy and successful life in our highly technical society will depend very much on what qualities of character and vocational skills you have acquired here at Mynderse. Your world now becomes a bigger world than just Mynderse, which has been pretty much the center of your interests, aspira- tions, and activities for the past four years. I am sure you will find in this world of your tomorrow that you will receive in proportion to what you give. VVe hope you have learned this very simple rule of living here at Mynderse. As you venture forth in the field of your choice, it is my sincere desire that you apply gainfully and profitably the fundamentals and theory that book learning and social living have imparted to you. You stand on the precipice of a bright future, the challenge is yours. For the Class of 1957 it's Mynderse today, tomorrow the world. Sincerely, Arthur L. Baker Superintendent of Schools IO
