ARTHUR L. BAKER, A.B., BS., MS. Syracuse University SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT To the Class of '54: Your theme, uFrom the Old to the Newf, means more than merely starting in the old Mynderse and graduating from the new. lf you have intelligently used each past failure and success experienced here at school as a stepping stone toward a gradual but sure improvement of your ability to get along with others, to stand courageously for the right, and to persevere in overcoming obstacles, the 4'Old will have prepared you well for the 4'New.', As you and this yearbook grow older, you will come more and more to appreciate the good old days at Mynderse. Sincerely, Arthur Baker Q ' t A ,, lif t, A ff? vi M , rfb ' kilt Q .,.ff ':E,.EEE ' ,- a n wr , M ' wf g f - ' I L ' ' 'Q-it , r ' A A ,f ig , ,..,. Y . OUT! PRINCIPAL Seniors of 1954: Your theme is well chosen. Not only are we entering a new building, but you as graduates are about to face new experiences. We hope that the instruct- ion you have received with us will help you to become better citizens of our country. May success go with you. Sincerely, Frank W. Vogel MR. FRANK W. VOGEL B.S. Colgate University M.S. Syracuse University CTUR VICE-PRINCIPAL Class of 1954: The minds of sincere people can be molded in many directions. It is hard, however, to understand the de- flection from loyalty of twenty-one American soldiers in Korea and of other citizens at home. Examine care- fully the grandiose philosophies you may encounter, and remember always to keep your sense of values intact. Very sincerely, John C. Fraser MR. JOHN C. FRASER B.S. Ithaca College M.S.
