SUPERINTENDENT Mr. Baker has been our Superintendent of Schools for four years, in which he has proved an able administrator, interested not only in the broad policies of education but in our student life, where we have found him an understanding friend. Under his responsible leadership, the plans for a new school System materialized to meet the needs of a growing population. Mr. Baker is t 14 na Fluff! respected by teachers, students and communityg for his personal life is an inspiration to all who know him. Increased enroll- ment necessitated hiring additional grade teachers and the purchase of two new buses. Work on the new school has progressed and the completed garage is in use for temporary classrooms. As trustees of the Edith M. and Peter Troutman Scholarship Fund, the Board has drawn up the regulations for the selection of candidates for this award to be given for the first time to a member of the 1953 class. Only three years later he became principal of Mynderse Academy, later receiving his Master of Science degree from Syracuse. Through the years, Mr. Vogel has guided, directed and disciplined the students under his charge, winning their respect for his generous and unselfish interest in their present and future problems. To Mr. Vogel we say. Thank you for all you have done for our success. MR. JOHN C. FRASER B.S. Ithaca College ALS. Cornell University Mr. Fraser, our vice-principal and Director of Adult Education, is well-known and popular. A graduate of Ithaca College and Cornell Uni- versity, he, as director of the Mynderse Band, brought prestige to our school through develop- ing outstanding musicians. ll MR. FRANK W. VOGEL B.S.
