VICE-PRINCIPAL JOHN C. FRASER B.S. Ithaca College M.S. Cornell University Class of 1951: Today the World offers opportunties in the fields of business, professional life and government for responsible citizens of high moral character. Since the materialistic tendencies that exist can only be counteracted by people of courageous moral convictions, young grad- uates will do well to scrutinize carefully the many seemingly modern philosophies that they will encounter. After all, the reason some things are old is that they have had the intrinsic Worth to stand up against continuous assault upon their exist- ence. They have stood up to one of the greatest tests-THE TEST OF TIME. Sincerely yours, John C. Fraser PRINCIPAL B.S. Colgate University M.S. Syracuse University To the Class of 1951: Your theme, School Days, should bring many happy recollections. You, if successful, have formed many friendships, and, I hope, have developed a sincere phi- losophy which may lead to your success. In these critical days, unless you, and others like you, are ready to give the lead- ership and service required, our democracy and freedom may disappear from the earth. I am hoping what you have learned may furnish a little of the stimulation which will-make you citizens that a democracy needs. Sincerely yours, Frank W. Vogel
