Accomplishments of GAC benefit both school, communit To improve public relations, the Key Club continued its work by co-sponsoring with the senior Hi-Y an open house after Myers Park's home basketball game with South. Selling Mustang license plates, members aided in boosting school spirit. Making and selling tassels for football games was the first of many projects for the Girl Ambassadors' Club. Early in the fall the club gave their annual New Girls' CAC. First row: Pres. Law, V.P. Bost, Sec. Carroll, Treas. Strawn. Second row: Moseley., Frost, Horne, Rich, Elliot, Spratt, Patterson, Manning. Tea, decorated the Student Center for a football game, and sold potato chips. Christmas was an active time. Presenting the yearly teachers' banquet highlighted the season, followed by decorating a campus tree, yuletide caroling, and giving a party for children at Good Samaritan Hospital. Extending their service to benefit the community further, the Ambassadors aided the March of Dimes, Heart Fund, and Easter Seal drives. Meacham, Blackwell, Stowe.
