Editor Susan Stephenson with advisors, Mr. Browne and Miss Freeman, held numerous conferences with the major staff members to make plans and decisions. Wfith originality as the keynote, staff members decided on numerous innovations. Choosing a letterpress book instead of offset was a major decision. An aid for the photographers was the well-organized system devised for planning, scheduling and taking pictures. Section editors worked with new type for copy and captions, and planned layouts with set margins. School activities were covered in two sections, Organizations and Clubs. Another addition was the Student Life section that in- cluded Honors and Awards. By placing a booth at the P. T. A. barbecue, Business Manager jo Ann Elliot was able to sell sponsorships and ads. For the tenth anni- versary edition of the Mzzrmzzg, the staff chose the theme A Decade of Progress. Section editors: Clubs Editor Diane Crockett, Features Editor Mary Van W'agner, and Organizations Editor Pat Cox. E' 3 , 4 o 4 ,at v5,,K
