Witluout the little things, Myers Parks picture could not have been completed. Varied emotions were felt by all of us during our moments of diversion. Being with friends became our most cherished activity. Hearing the Star Spangled Banner echo through crisp, fall nights sent chills down our spines. Strains of our flfnm fllafer made us solemn in our moments of glory. Holiday spirit and exam blues were part of our emo- tions during the year. The Student Lounge and home- room period caught us in some of our capers. Slush- ing through snow, ice, and a sea of mud were part of our daily winter routine. Fellowship which we experienced in club projects benefited us as well as the school. Endless hours of Follies practice Iilled our time. Cold, drab winter months were erased by the arrival of spring. Mothers Day and the beach dominated our thoughts. After our fling, we had the interlude before the Junior-Senior, the Senior Banquet, gradua- tion, and summer vacation. Page I2

and through these things we were growing with a purpose Throughout our entire period of observation and growth, we were compelled by some force which made us strive harder to achieve our aims. For the betterment of Myers Park and ourselves, purpose was guiding us on to higher goals.
