vve expanded our curriculum ln the formation of Myers Park, we found the cur- riculum to be the integral factor which was vital to the advancement of our school. Expansion of the academic program took place in all fields of study. Emphasis shifted to math and science, but Language Arts still remained as the essential area of learning. With the addition of fourth-year languages, Advanced Placement English, and World Literature, we were afforded the oppor- tunity to widen our horizons. Through social studies - Problems in American Democracy, American history, and world history - we became more aware of our place in society. The wide range of non-academic subjects contributed to our diversified personalities. Distributive Educa- tion offered job experience while we studied. Through our ingenuity and industry we exercised our intellect in our search for knowledge and self- realization. In our daily studies, objectivity and inter- pretation were our aims. W Plane coordinate geometry helps develop analytical minds. Through studying embryology and dissecting embryonic forms. Biology ll students penetrate into the mysteries of life.
