MM Jack Shackelford President of the Student Body The only officer elected each year by the collegians is that of president of the student body. Jack Shackelford, popular sophomore, was elected at the beginning of the school year, to fulfill the duties of this office. Upon the president's shoulders fall the responsibilities of all schoolactivi- ties. He presides over convocations and has charge of the school's social life. His most colorful duty is the final speech presented at commencement exercises. Jack Shackelford has lived up to all of the expectations of a good student president and is one of whom the graduating class is proud.
