President ,,,,,,,,, W ,,,,,, Dale Rice Secretary ,Y,7 Marty Cunningham Treasurer ,,,,,, ,,,,,, T om Swan The class of 1951 has seen the beginnings of many things on Muskingum's campus. The first class to have a normal college year since the war, we were unaffected neither by a complete lack of men nor by an overflow of veterans. Although typically green as Freshmen, it did not take us long to enter into campus life. As Sophomores, we sponsored Muskingum's first underwater dance - The Forty Fathom Fling. Climaxing a successful and vigorous Junior year, we witnessed the first of many firsts, when we brought a name orchestra to a campus dance. Johnny Long was chosen for this unique distinction, when we proudly presented Bali Hai for Seiuna. We, as Seniors, can be found in responsible places of every activity conceivable-debate, campus politics and government, organizations, honoraries and athletics. With more than our share of scholars, there are six new names on the scholarship plaque-the most for many years. Having brawn as well as brains, our class contributed a maiority of the material for our conference winning football and basketball teams. Yes, we've seen and taken part in the beginnings of many things. Yet there is one thing we'll always be taking part in for quite awhile to come-our memories of four successful years at Muskingum.
