Key to Understanding 7 Mrs. Tool and Katie Klinkner If you went to France, Ger- many, or Spain, would you be able to communicate with the people? Some of the students here at M.H.S. would be able to. They are the ones who take a foreign language. In their class, reading, writing, and par- ticipation in class discussion are essential to help them learn the language. With the help of tapes and special magazines, their leaming is reinforced. French is taught by two teachers, Mrs. Tool and Mrs. Schindler. Also Mrs. Schindler teaches German. The Speech Department is an important department here at MHS. Each student is re- quired to take one semester of speech. This course prepares the student for the outside world by helping him get over his stagefright and learning to talk in front of others.
