If you belong to the Student-Faculty Administrative Cotmcil, you might recognize this man. He is Mr. Clock, a member of the Board of Education. Meetings are held twice a month and at each meeting a different member of the board is present to voice his opinions and lend a helping hand. Several years ago, MHS had racial trouble. Concerned parents decided to come in and keep students from lingering in the halls. This was the start of what is now known as the Para-professionals. At the time they were volunteers, but now are a part of the paid staff here at MHS. Their job is to keep the noise and skipping down. When students get sick or hLu't in school it is their job to take them home or to the hospital if they do not have a ride.
