1 za! Bon Voyagel These were the gay cries of Lana Kay Broutman, Lorrie Leutcher, Karen Besing, Roxi Pierce, and Pauline Chonis as they bid farewell to their pals Andrea Bovitch and Sally Wickerink. These two girls became involved in many adventures during their trip to Europe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. By day our campus is a bustling center of activity. lt rings with the shrill echo of the bell and the murmur of conversation as students pass from room to roomg then the quiet settles over our grounds as classes are resumed. When the last bell tells us that the day is done, the build- ings are quickly deserted. Behind every achievement there are people working to make it a success. When the junior and senior classes last year put on the june prom, Sayonnara, there were many people working, especially the underclassmen. An oriental setting was used complete with pools and bridges. 9-W-+4...... And So the Graduation is the keynote to one's future. Today's graduates are the very foundation of our country. In the future, the graduates are the leaders. Getting a good start is the first step to success. At M.H.S. we stress building up that foundation, developing the minds and person- alities of these people. The climax to that build- ing is graduation. Graduation is the beginning and the end, it is the end of high school, for some it is the very end of their youth. From graduation many progress swiftly through college and into their position as adults in this worldg some are slower, but nevertheless start on their way and become adults. Graduation will be repeated often throughout their lives as they begin and achieve bigger and better things. But their grad- uation from M.H.S. shall never be forgotten nor duplicated.
