Here they come! This was the cry that went up as our Homecoming King and Queen walked down the runway to greet their loyal subjects. Soon after this picture was taken our rulers Peggy Wainwright and Roger Locke led off our first dance at the Homecoming dance. Suspense, fear and hope is seen in the expressions of these Muskegonites as they watch one of our Big Reds running down the field trying to gain a touchdown at our annual Muskegon Benton Harbor Homecoming game -Qt swf? .1 X , i f 2 S 'i

I could have danced all night, but school dances must end. Everybody had a good time at the dance after the Terry succeeded as usual in bringing in the winning touch- Homecoming game. The band was a change from the fast Big with Tidings catching record hops, and it seemed a welcome break. When you see those teams in red and white, cheer, cheer. That's just what all Muskegon students and alumni did during this half-time band show at Hackley Stadium. When Dad's Night was observed, special tribute was given to Robert Zuppke and Earl lensen, former M.H.S. gridiron stars.
