DONALD RAY ARNSON, B.A. Driver Education Mr. Arnson, being the assistant football coach for Ihe second team, has taken up sports cls his hobby. RUSSELL A. KELLY, B.S. Driver Education Mr. KeIly's family has made Q fine reputation at Muskegon High. He has six sons, all of whom have earned football letters at Muskegon. Safety First . . . Last . . . Always The driver's training program at M. H. S. is elimi- nating many traffic hazards that are caused simply by ignorance of the rules of the road. The aim of this program is to teach students the traffic regulations and the proper methods of driving an automobile so that they will be better drivers, thus making highway travel safer. Mrs. Cowan keeps a close check on the health of our students. She takes care of the casualties that range from the sniffles to a fall down the stairs. LDRED EVERDEO COWAN, B.S. Nurse 2l

WILLIAM L. STEWART, M.M. Band and Orchestra Mr. Stewart has the responsibility of supervising the entire instrumental music program. He has twin sans who are following his example by studying music. WILLIAM JOHN Del-IORN, M.A, Choir, Music Appreciation, Business Math Mr. DeHorn, who has two children, enioys reading in his leisure time. Music Takes Spotlight Muskegotfs music department, both vocal and instrumental, is one of the most popular departments with the students of M. H. S. We have a very fine at cappella choir, and our band and orchestra have been taking top ratings ut state contests for many years. FRED S. ROYS, M.M. Instrumental Music Mi. Revs' hobbies are hunting and fishing. CAROLYN LENTZ, B.M. Instrumental Music Miss Lentz's hobbies are swimming, ice skating, and reading.

The social studies department has one of the most complex programs in our school curriculum.
