E Z 9? 53 an M dadamdafettez time golden aiiuezf' So often we ask ourselves, Why do we attend school? just what do we expect to get out of it? Our first thoughts are of its material value. School at the present doesn't seem to meet our needs half so well as a job, netting us dollars and cents, would. Yet, we do enjoy the many friends we encounter and the unforgettable experiences that only a student at MHS could run into. But, we must probe deeper into our textbooks to dis- cover the candid answer to our question. Theoretically, we at MHS are seeking wisdom. Oh, not just Webster's definition of wisdom fknowledge KGERMANJ practically applied to the best endsj. No, we are seek- ing the type of wisdom that only we students can obtain. Wisdom from competition in athletics, participation in school clubs, our classroom studies, and the bond of friendship existing between the administration, faculty, and student body. This type of wisdom teaches us the value of co-oper- ation, fair play, sound judgment, and following instruc- tions exactly, which will remain with us long after we have walked down the corridors of MHS for the last time. FOR THOSE WHO SEEK IT .
