Just sixteen, too young to die— To be taken away and left to lie Alone, away from the ones who loved you so Away from the places we liked to go. Just sixteen, too young to die— Once more, dear friend, we wonder why You left us here and had to go Into eternity for God to know. Now good-bye, Carmen, we loved you well; To all of us you were really swell. We miss you, Carmen, but could this mean, That Cod needed one who was just sixteen?
