Dear Seniors: As this book is a history of the school year 1958 -59 and your school life, as well as a memento of that period, I wish to review the past and try and look a bit into the future. As in the past I know that, as a group, you had a good time. You formed many associations, and learned much from your contacts with the teachers, your fellow classmates, your books and the adults you were with. I hope that this knowledge will be put to good advantage. Now to the future. Any of you, who have been in my classes, will recall that I have mentioned to you, the younger generation, that you will have the thrill of living in a very stiumlating and chang- ing world-a world in which you will have to carry a greater responsibility of evaluation and directing all changes in your country, your state, your community, and your home. To carry this responsibility it will be necessary for you to think and act by yourself yet in cooperation with others. This you will have to do better than we, the older generation, have done.
