S. by car or bus. The other one fourth walked. Distances ranged from just across the street to twenty miles away. Every day Muskies saw a red station wagon bring nine students from the Lutheran Homes. This station wagon was a gift from friends of the Homes. Once in school, Nluskies separated to a variety of rooms arranged on three floors. Familiar rooms were the oflice, library, and cafeteria. f f Begzrz Lmmzhg needs no explanation, nor does the library, but the cafeteria had two uses. In the morning before classes, many Muskies studied there. Students who wished to be practical went to such rooms as the homemaking and woodworking rooms and farm shops. Printing was another practical course offered for the Hrst time since 1943. The boys printed pamphlets, pads for the office, pro- grams, and schedules. Those who wished to stress the artistic were especially fond of the chorus and band rooms, stage, and the art room. Young Einsteins frequented the science rooms. x i QQZSSJDD
