From that time on, Mtiskies started peeping from the covers and groaning as they were called or the alarm clock rang. The average time for this ritual was seven-fifteen. Some lucky ones managed to remain lazy until eight-fifteen. The variety of rising times points out the difference in time it took Musky guys and gals to get ready for school. Boys were ready in a mere five minutes, but girls-it took at least live minutes to put on lipstick. For some it was no task at all, because they refrained from eating anything. For others it was a job. Two eggs. a cup of coffee, two slices of toast, and three pancakes supplied morning energy for one boy. Most Muskies, however, settled for cereal. toast, and milk. One breakfast consisted of a tuna fish sandwich and a coke: another. of an egg sandwich and milk.
