This is one of the many problems that confronts the senior D math class daily. In the science division, the D class has studied atomic physics, basic electronics, biology, and chemis- try in the past year. Many of these are the equivalent of college courses. No one can deny that these students are well prepared for college. Most of these students are involved in extra curricular activities even though they have extra studying to do. D-avid Pietsch, Susan Dow, and Paul Miesen are shown looking over pamphlets of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Paul Miesen is presi- dent of the senior class.

Seniors Proudly Boast Cf During the first quarter, propaganda Techniques and mass communication were studied in the senior social studies classes. In this picture Donald Steinle and Carolyn Sandquist stand to argue the points for their candidates tor Presi- dent, as this was election year when citizens voted for President and gover- nor. This election was a most exciting one for Murray because Minnesota's newest Governor, Elmer L. Andersen, is a resident of St. Anthony Park. One of the most common questions asked ot seniors is What will you do atter high school. During the year, tests, counselors, and parents help each individual to decide what he is best suited tor. Many will need financial assistance in order to go to college. Those who received scholarships are honored in an assembly tor upperclassmen on Pilot Day. The top 20 percent ot the senior class and those who received citizenship awards are also honored at this assembly. Here Julie Beckiorden, Larry Grayden, Marty Vong, and Paul Miesen find a quiet place to study or per- haps think about the future.
