Anything from atoms to flowers is of in- terest to this foursome. They comprise Murray's science department, and they dwell in the school's area known as Sci- ence Alleyf' Here Mr, Robert Ritter is showing the others a model of a flower. His room is filled with drawings and models that make teaching biology easier. Others in the pic- ture are Mr. Reno Rossini, chemistry teach- er, and Mr. Don Lindberg, physics instruc- tor. Mrs. Lucile Smith, who teaches chem- istry and general science, completes the group. they teach others as Who wins this time? questions Mrs, Patricia Fritsche, girls' physical education instructor as her hand is on top of the bat. With her are Robert Larson and Stan McFarlin, two seniors who are gym assistants to coach Thomas Thomp- son, track mentor and boys' physical education director. Laurelli Koran, a GAA officer helps Mrs. Fritsche. Both teachers are carrying very heavy class loads, and the help of interested seniors is appreciated. ln general, students are assigned definite class hours with the gym teachers. F A Two things always fascinate people, a steam shovel and a blow torch, Here, it is the latter as instructors watch senior Quentin Perfect oper- ate one in machine shop under the supervision of tvtr. Eugene Pose, his instructor, right. Giving a few comments concerning the job on which Quentin is working are Mr. Bernard Broderick, math and mechanical drawing, as well as Murray's popular hockey coach, and Mr. George Bergup, wood shop mentor, and the school's athletic director.
