Class Day Honors Murrah's Upperclassmen Clad in trpnditional white attire, the l965 Senior Class marched into the overflowing auditorium for the Class Day program. Following the Alma Mater, The Halls of Ivy by the Murrah Singers, and Senior Class President Tim Colcer's address, Mr. Merritt presented academic and civic awards, and Student Body President Brad Farber presented lvlurrah M's. After the processional march, the seniors used the remainder of the day, proclaimed a holiday for all upperclassman, for skiing, swimming, and worrying about exams. The different moods of Class Day are expressed in these faces: William Richardson, Cindy Netterville, and Wayne Barber wait expectantly to hear Johnny Guyton's name called out again, Cliff Chunn meditates on the afternoon activities, Joe Cooper snores quietly, and Brad Farber ponders the loss of those four letters. Let's see, if I melt down all this gold and silver, I can make a good-sized anchor for my sailboat, speculates Johnny Guy- ton as he adds to his collection. '
