ARE CONFERENCE CHAMPIGNS David Hines and Oliver Hooper are two of our fastest men. They both star in the 100 and 220 yard dashes However, because of strained muscles they suffered earlier this year, they both were forced to reduce their speed. Eddie Fisher, Dave Derossett, Forest Jamison and David Hines are the components of the varsity relay, which has done its share to keep our team among the top in our conference. Don Gillmore, Harry Gillmore, Bill Mohlenbrock, and Edward Shaw have contributed much to the success of our track season with their well co-or- dinated low-shuttle relay. The Freshman relay, Bankhead, Hall, Dobbs and Barnett, claimed first place in the annual Freshman Sophomore meet at Pinckneyville. With talent such as these boys have displayed future track hopes are very bright.
