Page 117 Freshman Senior Directory Foreword With an apprehensive sigh and our fingers crossed, we present the thirteenth KANUHSHFTA which almost proved to be a jinx too great for thirteen staff members to overcome. Miss Maria Louise Travis, yearbook sponsor, has directed the KANUHSHETA through many conflicts since its birth in 1953. We recognize and request that all gratitude goto this capable person for her very excellent guidance and her many extra hours of labor upon these pages. Perhaps our diligent efforts, in spite of the black cat's crossing our path, will in some way help you to retain pleasant memories of this near catastrophic year. 3
