SUPERINTENDENT DONOVAN S. JONES Donovan S. Jones has been our competent and conscientious Superintendent of Schools since 1940. He obtained his B.S. degree from the University of Vermont and his M.A. from Columbia University. Mr. Jones has been interested and active in town as well as school affairs. He is past President of the Kiwanis Club and Vice-President of the Monadnock Council of Boy Scouts. The Silver Beaver was awarded to Mr. Jones for his outstanding scout activities. Mr. Jones has two children, Robert, a junior at Murdock, and Patricia, who is now attending the University of Vermont, of which her father is an alumnus. To the graduating class Mr. Jones says, If we are to preserve democracy we must work as hard to win the peace as those who have preceded us worked to make our freedom possible.
