ITIGTZHGQ ADO OAC GO I0 school Last December mothers and fathers came to school to attend MCHS's annual Parent-Teacher meeting, and all agreed that this one set a new standard for open house gatherings. The parents of the freshmen and sophomores were greeted in the auditorium by Father Brett and then the hrst and second year classes were visited by the students for a day. While parents of the underclassmen were at- tending to their lessons, Father Regan spoke to the families of the upper-classmen. Junior and senior classes were next invadedg in al- most all cases the students accompanied their parents, proudly intro- ducing them first to their teachers before relinquishing their desks to Mom and Dad. Members of the Honor Society were official hosts and hostesses for the day. x 9 . 3 JW ', tr 1 v 1 Janice Cartin, Daniel Brannigan and William Wedge aired their knowledge of the world in sophomore geography class for their admiring parents, while Anne Triptow checked an answer to a problem with Jewell Budriclc in a math class. Del' anne Burns and Katherine Keating ex- changed views on the some problem, but no parent offered to help. Focal point of interest at tt-e Open House was the go- thering of parents in the first floor corridor where they were met by the principal, Sister Mary Cecil.
