In the English Department, the students vocabulary is in- creased each vear, basic rules are reviewed, new vvorlt is introduced, and literature of the various nations is presented in stages. Through class dis- cussions, compositions, speeches, and dramatic ac- tivities, the student improves his oral and written work. The Modern Language Department offers a student a second and even a third language, name- lv Spanish and French.
