Class Histor As we met on the Reservation for the first time under the leadership of Mrs. Dice and Miss Koons, we found everything exciting and new. This year we partici- pated in Rythm Band. We also made butter, which was a new experience to most of us. This year we were greeted by our tribal leaders, Mrs. Hoffman and Mrs. Goodenow. A skit entitled Peter Cotlonlailn was presented at P. T. A. in which the members of the class were dressed in bunny suits. Dawn Smith joined our tribe this year. The third year found us in the homerooms of Miss Shook and Miss Stahl fnow Mrs. Stahl.j This year, for our mothers, we made book-ends out of pint jars filled with sand. We ended this year with a picnic held at Miss Shook's home. Ralph Feigles and Ronald Feigles joined our tribe this year. The class traveled up the steps this year and found Miss Young fnow Mrs. Brod- erickj and Mrs. Smith as our leaders. This year we visited the Muncy Historical House and Library. We also started gym classes for the first time. John O'Brien, a new member, was welcomed into our tribe. Miss Keener and Miss Brelsford fnow Mrs. Grahamj welcomed us as we entered into the fifth year of our school life. This year we started changing classes for the first time. Many new happenings, such as Fifth and Sixth Grade Glee Club, the Play- mates Club, and learning how to make wastepaper baskets and jewelry boxes highlighted the year's activities. jean Shipman joined our Reservation this year. Our sixth grade leaders were Miss Gaster and Mrs. Stein. We gained two new students this year, Georgiana Eisenhauer and Grace Marshall, who kept the class going with their witty sayings. If you took a good look around the room, you usually found every corner filled with mischievous students. Herm Hartman, to avoid a paddling, ran home during school hours. The seventh year on the Reservation we were greeted by Mrs. Arthur and Miss Waldron. This was an exciting year. The students wandered through the halls looking for their classes, and someone always came to their rescue, usually Mrs. Arthur. Many of the boys went out for junior high basketball this year. Betty Pauling and Betty Temple were welcomed into our tribe. Our Reservation was led this year by Miss Eustis Cnow Mrs. Lindquistj and M:. Girven. An ensemble was started this year by the 8th grade girls. We started intramural sports in which both girls and boys participated. This year, on St. Valen- tine's Day, Blanche Stackhouse swallowed a thumbtack and was rushed to the hospital to have it removed. Many new members were added to our tribe when We welcomed Betty Feigles, Fae Blakeslee, and the group from Pennsdale. Doris Hill and Grace Marshall were elected to be our 8th grade cheerleaders. Ninth grade was a busy year, with Mr. Schuyler and Mr. Hughes leading us. This year we made an important decision. We selected the course which we thought would best prepare us for the future. The boys were out for wrestling, football, and basketball, with the junior high boys winning the basketball championship. The Ameri- can Legion Awards were presented to Georgiana Eisenhauer and Arnold Reed. Mary Purpuri and Edward Booth Won the Poetry Contest.
