Residents of Bearcatville were persuaded to come on upl' when an AEC representative asked students to help him with an experiment on the stage in the auditorium. Atoms and their practical uses were illustrated at the convo sponsored by the AEC, and the use of atoms for electricity and other types of energy was shown by a model generator. The effect of atomic energy proved quite hair raising for a couple of gals who aided the AEC representative with another illustration of atomic energy. - Girls striving for positions as sophomore Bearcat cheerleaders had a special convo held for their benefit to determine which two girls would be oest tor the big job of yell leading. Muncie Central's Concert Band gave a patriotic convo in February in honor of George Washington's birthday.
