Not at Central High, anyway. Methods of study and learning range from movies, field trips and lectures to laboratory work. Distributive education classes learn by on-the- job training at various Muncie business establish- ments while botany classes wander through naturels fields, examining leaves and plants. Zoology students are given fresh air sniffing opportunities by their collections of bugs and examination of various types of animals. Foreign language students often have to open their ears as well as their eyes While attending a movie, as the voice in it is sometimes in the studied language. Physics and chemistry scholars often look like real scientists in the classroom when they pour substances from one flask to another, as another way of learning the Central way. Swimming classes learn, too-in a p1'etty damp way. Girls got their curls wet in splash sessions for the first time this year while learning to paddle around in the watery deep.
