OMB luwe Because most of us do not plan to attend college, Central offers many opportunities for those who will go to work immediately after graduation. Stu- dents may prepare for office and secretarial work in business education classes. Retail selling offers many opportunities in sales and merchandising. The Trade School enables boys to begin vocational training. Many girls who plan to marry choose homemaking courses in the home economics department. vi Z The girls enrolled in foods classes throughout the semester learn the dif- ferent types of foods and the many ways to prepare them. Here Miss Burgoyne is showing a beef roast. Roasting is one ofthe phases of cook- ing they study thoroughly. The main obiective of any typing student is to type quickly and correctly the les- sons in his book, and that ap- pears to be what these stu- dents are intent upon. In- structing them in their task are Mr. Shroyer and Mr. Mc- Curdy, a student teacher. Typ- ing is a course which is im- portant to any student who plans to enter the field of business.
